A Merchant of Record (MoR) is the official seller for your transactions.
It takes responsibility for billing, payments, taxes, compliance, and invoicing on your behalf, so you can focus on your work instead of administrative tasks.
When using Ruul as your MoR, your customers technically purchase from Ruul, and Ruul then pays you.
How It Works ?
STEP 1: Authorization
Authorize Ruul as your Merchant of Record. Once authorized, Ruul becomes the legal seller for your transactions and handles billing, payments, and tax compliance.
STEP 2: Add inventory or request payment
Add your services or products as inventory, or simply create a payment request for your work. Choose the method that best fits your business model.
STEP 3: Billing and checkout
When your customer purchases, Ruul resells your service or product to them through a smooth checkout experience, issuing a compliant invoice on your behalf.
STEP 4: Payout
After the purchase is complete, Ruul processes the payment, deducts the commission, and releases your payout β quickly, securely, and even in crypto if you prefer.
Good to Know
You remain responsible for paying your own taxes in your country of residence.
Ruul takes care of all buyer-side compliance (VAT/GST, invoicing rules, etc.).
Your customer does not need to sign up to pay β they can pay directly via bank transfer or credit card
